How do I make a Team Ontario Lacrosse team?

ID Selection Camp

Open to all OLA registered players eligible by age.

Invitational Camp

Players selected from ID selection Camp

Final Camp

The tryout process explained!

  1. Register for an ID Selection Camp through the Team Ontario website. 

  2. Athletes attend one ID Selection camp, although due to numbers, there may be more than one camp.

  3. The Coaching staff will invite athletes from the ID Selection camps to attend an Invitational Camp. You will receive an email informing you whether you are invited back, or not. 

  4. After the Invitational Camp, the Coaching Staff will invite athletes to attend the Final Camp

    You will receive an email informing you whether you are invited back or not.

  5. After the Final Camp, the Coaching Staff will offer roster spots to the successful players.

    You will receive an email informing you whether you are offered a roster spot or not.  Players not offered a spot on the roster are considered the 'Final Pool of Athletes'.  Coaches will go to the Final Pool to replace any athletes on the roster who are unable to fulfil their commitment to the team.

  6. Each tryout camp has a camp fee of $85.
